A 2024 EMJ Festive Writing Retreat at the University of Cambridge, UK.

Based at the University of Cambridge’s Madingley Hall, I invite all those writing in events-related areas, up to 40 scholars, to come together for a traditionally Cambridge Christmas writing retreat.

Over a multiple day period, we will have research and writing development workshops, ample space to write, mentor one another, and hear from inspiring writers in our field. And, of course, enjoy the delightful academic city of Cambridge and socialize with one another. The events-field grows rapidly, day by day, and this is an opportunity to see old friends, meet new ones, and forge lasting connections across our intellectually diverse community.
